The 2.3 mile San Clemente Beach Trail connects North Beach to Calafia Beach with stops along the way at the Pier and T Street. Park at North Beach located about three miles south of the house and head south.

Shopping and Restaurants
South Orange County has become popular for many reasons. Besides the nice weather, there are so many things to do and visit. I have listed only a few things here, but as time goes on, I am becoming more interested in visiting the many museums in Orange County, Los Angeles County and San Diego county. For kids, the zoo, the wild animal park and the natural history museum in La are my favorites. For adults, the two Getty museums, the Academy Awards museum, the LA county museum of Art and Balboa Park are my favorites. Then there is the Broad museum, and the new George Lucas museum that rounds out the pack making our San Clemente short term rental a fantastic base of operations for visiting museums in the area.
